A loan helped to buy clothing, makeup, shoes and uniforms.

Zoila Cecilia's story

Zoila is 29 years old, married and has three children who are 8, 10 and 12 years old. They study in the school, and she is pregnant. They live in the Divino Niño neighborhood in Pedernales. During the earthquake the walls of her house cracked completely. They set up a tent next to the house to live in. They lost their electronic appliances and the rest of their home belongings.

Zoila worked selling products from catalogues, like clothing, makeup and shoes. All the merchandise she had had delivered was lost. Some customers didn’t pay her because they passed away, and others left the area. Her husband worked as a chauffeur with a motorcycle taxi.

With the new loan she will buy clothing, makeup and shoes which her new customers have ordered, and use the other part for uniforms for her children. Her husband continues his work with the motorcycle taxi. Like this she will move forward with her family.
