Shamim akhtar baji is a wife of N. A. who has lived in a mid-size city named Riwind, Pakistan for the past 15 years. She is an uneducated lady because her parents couldn’t bear her education expenses. She is a very hardworking lady. She runs a dairy business to share the financial burden of her husband. She gets up at 4 o’clock and gets milk from the buffalo, sells the milk to the milk shops and earns income. She saves her income in a committee for rainy days.

Her husband is a delivery man by profession. He delivers items (fruits & vegetables) on his vehicle named “Shahzore”. Shamim baji is applying for a loan to repair her husband’s vehicle because its engine is creating trouble.

She is the group leader of six other women from her locality. Sugran baji, Mukhtaran baji and Seema baji each want a loan to buy buffalos for their dairy business. Akbari baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Sajida baji wants a loan to buy clothes to sell. Rubina baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
