Kalsoom baji is the wife of M. H.. They have lived in a mid-size city Riwind, Pakistan for the past ten years. They are a very hardworking couple. Kalsoom baji prepares decorative embroidered dresses based on orders from the shops and Mr. H. makes artificial jewelry and sells it the jewelry shops.

Kalsoom baji is applying for a loan to buy beads, tools, and sketches for her husband’s jewelry making business. She is the leader of a group of three other women from her locality. Nasreen baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery ssyore. Bashiran baji wants a loan to buy material beads, colored thread, and clothing for her embroidered clothing business. Sakina baji wants a loan to buy biscuit packs wholesale to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
