7 De Julio Group's story

The members of the "7 D. Julio" (July 7th) Village Bank are neither related to each other nor have anything in common. They engage in a variety of commercial and service activities in the El Pajonal neighborhood. The women's businesses incluD. traveling cosmetics sales, and a grocery store, and the men's incluD. public transportation services, and phone card sales. The members are aware that there is competition. They know how to get ahead, though, especially when they have the trust of an organization that is always inclined to help its members buy materials, supplies, and tools so their businesses can generate more income and their families can enjoy a better quality of life. A large proportion of the members have prior experience working with Fundación Agrocapital so they know how to work alone as well as the responsibility required to be part of a group.
