A loan of $375 helped purchase clothing and cosmetics.

Maria Nicolasa's story

Maria Nicolása is 42 years old, married, and has three children. Two of her children work and one is in school. Her husband is a driver. She lives in the 19 de Febrero neighborhood and is in the 2 de Agosto cooperative in the capital city of Managua. Her business is selling cosmetics and perfumes, which she began 10 years ago with her own savings. Sewing has also been a medium for helping her husband with their expenses. With this, her ninth loan from Afodenic, she will invest in the purchase of clothing and cosmetics to be able to offer a greater variety to her customers. She thanks the institution for the commercial development she has achieved, because the long-term loans have enabled her to benefit in her personal life.
