A loan helped to purchase two cows and start an animal husbandry business.

Vakhtangi's story

Vakhtangi is a 63-year-old married man from the small village called Chognari in the Terjola district. He lives with his wife.

The family is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, they have a plot of agricultural land, where they have a vineyard and nut trees. Vakhtangi works hard and sells the harvest locally.

Alongside these agricultural activities, he wants to be involved in the animal husbandry business, so he requested a loan. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables him to get a loan of 5,000 GEL.

With the received credit, Vakhtangi will purchase two cows. He will start his animal husbandry business and will be able to generate a more stable income. Vakhtangi is very motivated and awaits your support.
