A loan of $675 helped buy goods for her store.

Victoria's story

Victoria is from Paucartambo but now lives in Pilcopata, which is part of the Cusco jungle and is 8 hours by bus from the city of Cusco.

She came to Pilcopata more than 4 years ago and fell in love with the weather and the people. Currently she is both a homemaker and takes care of her grocery almost full time. She is 47 years old and has 6 children, the youngest two are 18 and 14 years old. She is not married but lives with her common-law husband who is the father of her children. He is a farmer and together they work to help out the children with their education and other needs.

She needs a loan to stock her store with goods which are brought from the mountains of Cusco to be sold in the valley.

She is grateful for the loan and confirms that she will repay it within the established timeframe.
