A loan of $750 helped purchase more shrimp for his business.

Elvin Antonio's story

Elvin Antonio S. C. is a 32-year-old married father with one son, who is in school. Elvin makes a living selling shrimp. He started his business more than nine years ago with very few shrimp because he didn't have much experience and didn't know whether he could really find some success. Sometimes he walked the streets offering his products with his son because he didn't have anyone else who could care for him. But even though they tired from traveling all over, he and his son always received customers with a smile on their faces. Currently he is requesting a loan that he will use to purchase more shrimp to satisfy the demands of his customers. Elvin's dream is for his son to successfully complete his education and one day become a professional.
