A loan helped to invest in ice cream treats, snacks, sweets, and orders of mixed clothing.

Kelly Johana's story

Kelly is an enterprising woman who lives in Cartagena de Indias, a city located on Colombia's Caribbean coast, whose majestic history spans the entire colonial period from which most of its artistic and cultural heritage derives.

Her house is in a humble neighborhood of this city. She set up her business, ice cream sales and a candy stand, on the terrace. Alternately, she sells clothing and products from specialized catalogs. With these activities she has been able to increase her household income and continue her momentum.

Currently, she is applying for a loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. She will invest it in ice cream treats, snacks, sweets, and orders of mixed clothing.
