Josefina's story

"I started my business in 1999. I have only have Php 15,000 in savings that I use to buy goods to sell. My neighbors come in everyday to buy what they need. I have been grateful to see how my small store has grown. The income that I get is used to pay for the education of my nephews, since I am still single," says this fifty-eight-year old entrepreneur from Trinidad, Bohol.

She is asking for a loan of Php 20,000 from CEVI, one of Kiva's field partners. She will use the loan to buy additional merchandise for her store. The loan will help expand her business and attract more customers.
