A loan of $950 helped working capital.

Maria Bernarda's story

Maria Bernarda R. Gracia, 73, is a single mother. She supports 5 children, all in school. She operates a small general store, a business that she's had for more than 21 years. Dona Maria decided to start the business because she needed to find a way to support her children. She's always been a very responsible woman and someone who has had to be both mother and father to her children. The loans have allowed her to buy what she needs for the business and wholesale supplies of the products she sells. The money that she wants to borrow will be used as working capital to buy basic grains, snacks and natural drinks. Her greatest hope is to make improvements to her house.
