A loan of $700 helped buy plastic bags and other presents for Mother’s Day.

Yola's story

Yola buys and sells gift bags: baskets, bags, hats, piñatas, balloons, and more for birthday parties and other events. She buys all of her merchandise on La Tablada Street, a place well known in the city for selling various wholesale products. She takes them to Oruro city where she has her own stand. She also sells to other women who ask for her merchandise. She lives in her own home with her husband, a musician, and her daughter. Her husband works in an orchestra, and her daughter is a student. During vacations her daughter travels with her to help with the stand. She is a good client. The loan will be used to buy plastic bags and other presents for Mother’s Day.
