A loan of $350 helped buy a display cabinet and outfit a shop in her house.

Deizy's story

Deizy is 42; she lives with her life partner and their children, Gracie (17), Junior (15) and Ana (14), in a house which they own. She has been selling clothes to order for a year. She sells to her neighbors, enabling her to supplement the family income to cover household expenses and pay for the children's education.

She likes the work a lot since she can do it in her free time while also attending to her chores in the house. However, she has some problems with customers not paying on time and has to go collecting debts door to door, which is very tedious. Fortunately, these cases are a small minority and the business is profitable, which is what matters.

Deizy works hard and devotes a lot of time to the business since she knows that her future depends on what she does today. This is her first loan from MFP, and she knows she must pay the installments punctually.

The money will be used to buy a glass cabinet to display garments in her house, and to outfit a small shop in the house.
