Las Julianas Group's story

The Las Julianas communal bank is in its third cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Santiago II regional center. It is comprised of nine members and led by a board of directors. Maria is the presidents. The loan that they will take out will benefit small businesswomen where Maria is a member.

She currently has a business of selling lubricants. She says that she learned this business from her parents several years ago. The loan that she will now take out will be to increase capital to buy automotive oil and grease wholesale. She will get these from the sellers in the city of La Paz. She will later sell them at her sales space. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. She is single and has two children.
