Peregrina's story

Peregrina P. T. belongs to the Rumbo Al Éxito-CAF Community Bank. Her home is located in the Urb. JJ Muños. She is 43 and has five children. Four of the children are minors. Her husband is co-administrator of the business. She started selling fruit about three years ago. The first loan she received from Manuela Ramos was for 300 PEN, which she used to buy “aguaje” (fruit from her zone) to sell in the neighborhood park. She currently has a small market in her house. The market generates better income than her previous business. With this loan for 1,700 PEN she will buy a freezer for her place. With the rest she will buy groceries to stock her store. She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for being an institution that serves the community and contributes to the women of this region.
