A loan of $450 helped to buy more stocks of fresh peppers.

Sakina's story

Sakina P. is 42 years old. She is married and blessed with five children. Currently two have completed the senior high school and the rest are still schooling. Sakina says combining motherhood and business demands is very challenging. However the two must be attended to simultaneously. She has been selling bulk supplies of fresh and dried peppers for five years now. She buys the peppers, dries and mills them to get the powdered form she sells.

She treks to the nearest city centers like Kumasi to sell. She is able to support her household well through this business. She needs the loan to enable her to purchase more stocks of peppers. She hopes the loan would enable her to double her savings to provide quality education for the kids.
