A loan helped to invest in maintenance on the motorcycle he uses to go out and sell bread on.

Luis Angel's story

Luis is 33 years and has only a first-grade education; he could not continue with his schooling. Luis has a partner, a housewife, and together the couple has seven children, three of whom are in school.

Luis has seven years’ experience selling bread. He learned this trade from a nephew. Luis gets up at 4am in order to go out and sell in neighbouring cantons. Luis works two shifts, one from 4.30 to 8am, the other from 3 to 5pm.

Luis needs this loan in order to invest in maintenance on the motorcycle he uses to go out and sell bread on. This motorcycle is Luis’ main means of transport for selling bread in many places.

Luis dreams of having a new motorcycle for selling bread as the current one has many problems and Luis needs to keep on working so that his household can eat.
