A loan helped to buy one ox for fattening.

Razafimahatratra's story

Razafimahatratra is a farmer. At the age of 57 he is still very active and devoted to his professional activity which allows him to provide for his family. He essentially raises zebus, which he fattens and then resells at the village market. His activity is particularly profitable during the winter season, when exhumations and circumcisions take place.

Razafimahatratra works with local butchers and also sometimes sends his meat to Antsirabe. He has been a trustworthy client of VAHATRA for the past five years. He now wants to take another loan to buy an ox. Recently, he has been able to buy a rice paddy with the profits he made from meat sales. His main goal is to improve his family's living conditions.
