Puna's story

Mrs. Puna G. lives in Balkhu in the Kathmandu district. Most of the people in this region are engaged in small businesses. Mrs. G. lives in a single family with her husband and three children. Her husband, Mr. Jagath man G., is a taxi driver. She has one son and two daughters. Her son took the SLC (Schooling Leaving Certificate) exam this year and both her daughters are studying at the primary level.

Mrs. G. is a grocery shopkeeper in Balkhu. She opened her grocery store five years ago to strengthen the economic conditions of her family. She sells different types of grocery goods in her shop. To meet the increasing demand for grocery goods, she is requesting a Rs 25000.00 loan to invest in her shop.
