Miguel is a native of Zone One in the Totonicapan department. His primary activity is raising chickens.

He now needs a loan to build a small hen house. He has been raising chickens for over ten years. He currently has five thousand laying hens. They collect approximately three thousand eggs daily. They are distributed to different stores in the area. With the construction, they will be buying a thousand chickens to be able to meet the customers’ demands.

Don Miguel es originario de la zona uno del departamento de Totonicapan su actividad principal es la creanza de pollo hoy necesita un credito para la construccion de un pequeño gallinero dicha actividad lo vienen realizando hace mas de 10 años cuenta actualmente con cinco mil pollo ponedoras diariamente en la granja se recaudan aproximadamente tres Mil huevos y que son distribuidos en la diferentes tiendas de la localidad, con la construccion estaran comprando mil pollo para poder cubri la demanda que se tiene por los clientes.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
