A loan helped a member to raise sheep in order to sell them.

Danaya Group's story

Seydou N'tji is the one holding the sheep in the photo. He is a Malian farmer who has not been to school. He is 43 years old, married, and the father of 10 children, aged from two to 19 years old. Five of the children attend school.

Seydou N'tji has raised livestock for more than 10 years, and his wife works keeping the household.

Seydou N'tji procures his livestock from the surrounding markets and makes his resales in the same markets. Profits that he earns allow shim to meet his family's needs.

He is borrowing money from RMCR to buy many sheep to increase his livestock raising. He is a creditworthy client.

Seydou N'tji often faces a drop in the price of animals at the market.

His dream is to have a large enough loan in the future to become a large livestock farmer.
