A loan helped to buy some seedlings and pesticides for her farmland.

Afaf's story

Afaf is a 32-year-old single lady from a small village near Jenin City. She lives with her family in a small old house.

She has a farmland in the village for the cultivation of vegetables. It is a good business and provides her a good income. The whole family depends on this land as a source of income, but this income is seasonal and wobbling. She could not save cash from last season.

Afaf took a USD loan from Palestine for Credit & Development. This loan will help her to buy some seedlings and pesticides for her farming land for this season. She hopes that this new beginning will enable her to increase her sales and customers, and eventually to save enough income to cover the expenses for the next season.

This loan is special because:

It creates opportunity for women 35 and younger.
