A loan of $175 helped to increase the memory on her computers.

Soledad's story

Soledad is 32 years old and lives with her husband and small 3-year old daughter in her in-laws’ house. Because of the demand for Internet access, she decided 2 years ago to start a business providing public Internet booths. For this, she outfitted some space that her in-laws provided inside their home. Soledad tends to her business each and every day in order to generate the necessary income for the household, renting her computers out on an hourly basis. Her business has been fruitful so far, as it is the only such service in her area. This motivates her to continue to progress and upgrade her machines so she can offer a better and faster service. This is her first loan with MFP, and her first experience in a cooperative bank. Regardless, Soledad has a great desire to work in a team environment with all of her colleagues. The funds she is requesting are for buying memory for her computers, to expand the amount of information they can store.
