A loan of $100 helped increase her merchandise.

Hermelinda's story

Hermelida is 39 years old, and lives with her 12 year-old son in her own home. Her daily work consists of looking after her shop, which she has set up in her own home. She sells food items like groceries, vegetables, fruits, soft drinks, and other items. She has maintained a dedication and calling to her work for 8 years. Sometimes, above all during the weekends, she goes out to sell food in the traditional fiestas in her area.

Thanks to her perseverance and the quality of her work, Hermelinda has grown her business progressively. She has plans for the future to improve the infrastructure of her store so that it might be more attractive to her clients.

This is the first time she has sought a loan with MFP, and she has great hopes to work in union with her bank. The loan she seeks will be invested in the purchase of sacks of vegetable stew to supplement her inventory.
