Shirley's story

Shirley, with the support of her partner and of Manuela Ramos, and having sewing skills, decided to start her own business out of her house. She works mostly in the area of sportswear. She tells us that these sell well. She takes orders and sells by the dozen. Currently she is working on the manufacture of sports clothing, and she has a loyal customer base. She stays home each day completing her sewing and filling orders. She tends to her customers with the amiability that characterizes her.

With a loan of S/ 1,000.00, she will invest in fabric by the meter, of different styles, and tools like scissors, sewing needles for both machine and hand sewing, pins and buttons.

Shirley currently feels that she is an accomplished woman, with the desire to achieve and make her dreams a reality. She thanks Manuela Ramos for helping her start her business, as well as assisting many women who hope to expand their businesses.
