The Jerusalen Group is a communal bank of three women who want to improve their situation and get ahead by expanding their businesses.

Cintia, 24, coordinates the group and for five years she has been selling fresh produce. This is her sixth loan through KIVA. She has two dependent daughters and her mother is the one who helps with the business. Her goals are to grow her business. With her previous loan she bought a TV and refrigerator. She will use this loan to buy onions, tomatoes and peppers.

The other members are Elsa, 48, who sells food, and Esmerita, who sells shellfish.
