Usman's story

Usman is a 25-year-old man who has been running a low-cost school in a small community. There are 88 students enrolled in the school and 55% of them are female students. The aim of the school is to ensure that all students have basic competencies needed later for practical life. The students are encouraged to set personal learning targets and goals. The main focus is to convert the students into productive resources who bring benefit to the overall society. Usman knows that physical environment of the school should also facilitate the students. However, due to lack of funds the students are using broken furniture. Usman has requested PKR 100,000 for repairing the furniture and building the school.
