Renacer Group's story

The Renacer (Rebirth) Women's Committee was formed on January 17,2009, thanks to the current Director of Finance, Señora Daniela R. D., who is engaged in producing and selling meals. She contacted the Adviser in order to find out about the process used by the Emprendedoras (Enterprising) Women's Committee. With that advice, she managed to bring together 16 women who are now working harmoniously in their second cycle as a solidarity group within the program.
The average loan taken out by each participant is 480,000 Guaranís, which will be used for different activities such as: selling meals, or notions, or supplies for the pantry (rice, sugar, noodles, dairy products, baked goods, yerba tea, etc.), selling fruits and vegetables, or meat, or selling Torta de Miel (honey cake), etc.
The Renacer Group is an excellent group who are working together. All of the members attend the weekly meetings and take part in activities for the common good of the group.
