Maria Teresa's story

María Teresa is a 46 years old businesswoman and is married to 43 year old Jorge who works as an employee in the Itauguá National Hospital and with whom she has 3 children: 28 year old Ramon, 17 year old Marilyn who is finishing 3rd year of computer studies, and 15 year old Marcos who is completing his first year in media studies.

María Teresa has a small snack bar where a number of interesting clients gather daily. She opened her business a little over a year ago as her husband’s income didn’t completely cover the household expenses and the children’s schooling expenses.

With great effort and help from the entire family she has able to be successful and today she has her snack bar where she works with the objective of improving the quality of life for her family. She seeks a loan to buy an electric stove where she will be able to make all kinds of dishes, in addition to stock her business with beverages and food items in general.
