A loan helped a member to buy more cassava trees for her farm.

Komsrorn Group's story

Komsrorn is a 26-year-old farmer with two children in her care who lives in a village in Tboung Khmum province, Cambodia. She has been a farmer over four years. One of her children is a student, while another one is too small for school. Her husband is 29 years old, and he earns income from making beds. Both of them can earn approximately $21 a day.

Komsrorn, first on the right in the picture, is the group leader. Currently, she would like to request a Kiva loan for a group of four members. She will use her portion to buy more cassava trees for her farm. This loan will help her expand her farm and get more income for her family.

In the future, she wants to buy more farmland, save money to build a new, proper house, and support her child to earn a higher education.
