Dulia's story

Dulia is a member of the Yunga Uyo community bank in the Yunguyo district, Chucuito province, Puno department. She is 23, in a common law marriage, and has one son. She lives in the Alto la Florida neighborhood. She completed high school.

She has worked with the Movimiento Manuela Ramos for five years. Dulia buys and sells fruit. Her first loan was for 300 PEN.

She currently wants a loan for 2,200 PEN to buy more fruit like bananas, oranges, pears, mandarins, grapes, etc. She will sell them at the 15th of August market.

Her dream is to have a big store where she could also sell groceries. Sales are down a bit.

She really likes the fulfillment of working with her colleagues and the way that Manuela Ramos works.
