Patient Group's story

This is Abdul T. and Mohamed Conteh. They are local entrepreneurs in Magburaka, a city in northern Sierra Leone. With the help of previous Kiva loans, these entrepreneurs keep maintaining steady and booming businesses. They have repaid their last Kiva loan successfully. They are now requesting a new loan of Le 1,200,000 for each of them to further strengthen their businesses.

Abdul T. (right) is the leader of this group. Abdul was born in the village of Masinra, which is about twenty-eight miles from Magburaka, in northern Sierra Leone. Abdul is married to a businesswoman. He sells creams, toothpastes, bars of soap, torch lights (flashlights), sprays and so on. He has been a businessman for over ten years.
