A loan helped buy a display case and furniture to improve the appearance of his business.

Hernándo's story

Hernando is an enterprising young man from the municipality of Soledad. He opened his barber shop long before he was of age. When he was only 16 years old, he became an artist cutting hair in urban styles. As the years have passed, he has been able to offer more services to improve the male image.

Hernando has eight years of experience in this business and a lot of empirical knowledge that has captivated a client base in his neighborhood. He offers his services in continuous schedule from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Hernando is a hard-working man who hopes to be able to rent a commercial space on the North of the city and to offer a better future to his two-year-old daughter.

He is currently applying for a credikiva, his first loan with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, to buy a display case and furniture to improve the appearance of his business. With these changes he hopes to make an impression to new clients who come into his shop so he can then captivate them with his level of service.
