A loan helped a member to buy supplies for her grocery store such as rice, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, juices, crackers, etc.

Dios Es Amor Group's story

The community association Dios es Amor consists of nine members, all responsible parents with 10 underage children who are studying.
They are from Malpaisillo and are known to be very hard working, responsible people, with a desire for self-improvement.
They struggle day after day to get ahead with their businesses and families. Their targets and goals are to make their businesses grow and to provide their children with the economic stability they need.

Paola is the group coordinator. Her business is a small grocery store, which is located in her house, and where she sells food, in small quantities, such as rice, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, juices, crackers, sodas, etc.

She works in this business about 12 hours a day offering her products. Work that she does gladly as this is her main source of income.
The objective of this loan is to increase the working capital so in the near future she can have better income.

The community association Dios es Amor is grateful for the help that Kiva lenders provide to people of limited resources, in impoverished countries like Nicaragua, so they can have decent work.

In this group: Yessenia Del Rosario, Idalia Isell, Brenda Esperanza, Santa Lucia, Dimas Mercedes, Paola Corina, Maria Magdalena, Bertha Del Carmen, Norma Angelica
