A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase rice, sugar, pasta, oil and milk.

Hilda's story

Hilda is a member of the "Yunga Uyo" Communal Bank in the Yunguyo district, Chucuito province in the Puno department. She is 39 years old and married with 3 children. She lives in the Florida neighborhood. She did not complete her studies (in agriculture).

She has worked with the Manuela Ramos Movement for 8 years. Her business is the purchase and sale of groceries (rice, sugar, pasta, oil). Her first loan for 3000 soles enabled her to buy products for her business.

Now she would like an additional loan of 3000 soles to purchase a greater variety of grocery products (rice, sugar, pasta, oil, milk). Her dream is to have a large, well-stocked store.

She tells us that she enjoys the training and meetings, and is very grateful to Manuela Ramos for the support it gives them to continue their work.
