A loan of $4,150 helped a member selling food in the main town plaza.

Virgen Natividad De Lares Group's story

The members of the “VIRGEN NATIVIDAD D. LARES” bank are from the Lares district, in the province of Calca, located within the region of Cusco.

Our members alternate between agricultural activities, like planting potatoes, corn, wheat and barley, and home-based businesses in which the women sell food in the main town plaza on Saturdays and Sundays, while the men take products like dry grains and sell them in other districts around and within the city of Cusco.

The members need this loan to reinvest in their various crops and to buy products like dry noodles, rice, oil, flour, vegetables and other ingredients.

The members are grateful for the support they have received and for the approval of their loan, which they hope will help them realize their dreams. They promise to repay this loan according to schedule.
