Pepe's story

Pepe is a 57-year-old mother with five children. She runs a small business selling taro and banana in her village to earn a living. Pepe requested a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), a wheelbarrow, a rake, a shovel, a water tank, hand gloves, and banana tubes (seedlings) to help her run the business. She became a member of SPBD in 2007.
