A loan helped to buy fertilizers for the plantain farm where she works with her husband.

Dolores De La Cruz's story

Dolores is 26 years old. She is now in a relationship. She has a 4-year-old son and is expecting her second baby. She studied through high school. For now, her son is her only dependent.

Currently, Dolores works as a health promoter in her community, which she has done for the last two years. Before this job, she did domestic work in the houses of people from the area. With her current job, she has better income, but she also works cultivating plantains with her partner.

She is in need of a loan to buy fertilizers for the plantain farm where she works with her husband.

Dolores dreams of having a united family, having a job to be able to care for her son and the baby on the way, and supporting her partner in the agricultural work when possible.
