A loan of $4,800 helped buy bottles/jars and inventory to allow me to sustain a commercial kitchen.

Jonathan's story

Hello, thank you for taking your time to read my story. Back in 2013 as a full-time dad, part-time Food Server I found myself in Target one day, and wide mouth pint jars were on clearance. As a former restaurant owner/chef, I said what the heck, lets make some pickles. I wanted them to be spicy, so after searching some basic pickling recipes online I began making pickles a unique way, and failing, and failing.

Until one day I tried something new and boom, I created my signature spicy southwestern dill pickle. I took my experiment to my job and all my coworkers tried them and they all said "this is the best pickle I ever had". All of a sudden I'm making dozens for them to buy. Then one day my wife Kimberly takes a jar to her work, and by that weekend, I was selling 60 jars out of the trunk of my car.

I knew I had something. After a year on the Farmer's Market scene, I am now ready to sell my products to the masses, creating unique mixers, elixirs, and "Picklemary" mix from the essence of my original pickle. I hope you can help. Thank you-Jonathan Shrednick aka pickledude.
