A loan of $500 helped inventory expansion.

Mayram's story

Mayram G. is a 48-year-old woman, who is married and has three children. For more than two years, she has sold household products and dishes at the Spitamen regional food market. When she began, Mayram had only a small inventory of goods, but recently she learned about the MicroInvest loan program from her business colleagues. Now, Mayram has expanded the assortment of goods she carries. Her husband Abdullo works as a taxi driver and twice a month helps Mayram to transport merchandise from the town of Istaravshan. On other days, he takes fares to supplement the family income.
