Victoria's story

Victoria is the mother of two small children, and together with her partner she tries to give them what they need. Her children appreciate the effort that she makes, since thanks to her work and that of her partner they finished building their house. For the last 6 years she has been selling gas and has a business partner with whom she shares the work and the profits. But she is the person responsible for managing the daily income and expenditures, trying as far as possible to generate profits that pay the operating expenses. This business is very profitable owing to the fact that the people in her town do not have a distributor of this fuel, but now Victoria's store offers them the best service and delivers their orders on time. Victoria dedicates 10 hours a day to her business, since the doors of her store are open from 7 in the morning to 8 in the evening to serve customers. With time, she wants to become independent and have her own business. She has been working with MFP for 5 years. This is her eighth loan ans she is very happy with the work that is carried out in her group, since they try to generate an enterprising spirit and commitment to the communal bank in every member. The 3000 soles (Peruvian currency) that she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of a larger quantity of gas cylinders and to take advantage of some of the offers of the businesses who sell this fuel wholesale.
