Noor Sabra Ghulam Murtaza Group's story

Noor Sabra baji is the wife of G. M. and lives in Borewala, Pakistan. Borewala is famous for its shrines. Noor baji is a very devoted lady. She always motivates her husband to go ahead no matter what the circumstances. Her motivation gives power to him and he has started a clothes selling business. From this business, they are able to send their two children, a daughter and a son, to school. Noor baji is very happy with his efforts. Noor baji also operates a sewing business to share the financial burden with her husband. She is applying for a loan to buy more clothes to increase the profit of her husband.


She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Saeeda baji is requesting a loan to buy wood to sell. Parveen baji wants a loan to buy milk to sell. Khursheed baji wants a loan to buy sugarcane for her juice corner. Nasreen baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle).


This is a group loan. The funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
