A loan of $5,000 helped purchase my manufacturer's minimum order of bacon buns.

Sarah's story

I come from a line of Midwestern culinary artisans and was entrepreneurial from the start. At 7 years old, my Barbies owned a store and I ran a lemonade stand, ripping off local construction workers.

In college, I entered business plan competitions and sold my homemade products to students in my dorm. Later, I worked 16-hour days and hired my first employees to start a homemade gourmet food company. I consistently sold out of my products at Chicagoland farmer's markets and food festivals and have been featured on TV, radio, newspapers, and food blogs.

I dreamed of taking this company nationwide. In order to make my dream a reality, I moved to New York City to learn business operations. A few years later and a partnership with a food manufacturer who brought my vision to life, I am ready to launch my business!
