Erika's story

Ms. Erika is a member of the communal bank “Las Margaritas II” and lives in the province of San Martin with her partner. She is the mother of 3 dependent children.

Erika decided to sell kebabs and prepared foods in her neighborhood's plaza because the area is so well trafficked. She tells us that she sells a lot each day due to the good flavors she prepares her food with and is well received.

She will continue with the same business because she is very happy with her job that she begins at 6:00 p.m each day. She attends her clients herself with her customary charisma.

She hopes to invest the loan of 2,000.00 soles in purchasing supplies for the daily preparation of her food like: kilos of rice, sugar, gallons of oil, crates of chickens, and also some utensils so she can better serve her clients.

Erika is full of life and is still motivated to get ahead. She tells us that she has many dreams and goals for her life like starting her own restaurant in a place with good air conditioning. She is also grateful to Manuela Ramos for contributing to the development of her business.
