Dora's story

Señora Dora belongs to the "Invincible Women" Community Bank. She lives at 1118 Jorge Chávez, Tatapoto District, San Martin Province, in the Department of San Martin. She is married, is 55 years old, and has five children, all of them independent.

With the goal of contributing to the household income she got the idea of opening a small business selling prepared foods and little by little has gained experience in this type of work, making herself very well known and liked by her clients.

Currently she is continuing with the same business, attending to her clients who come daily to her restaurant. She herself takes care of them with her rich flavors and the friendliness of her character.

She wants to invest this loan of 1,000 PEN to buy rice and sugar by the sack, various vegetables, eggs, and live chickens in crates. She will also buy some new kitchen utensils to replace what she currently has and proviD. better service and attention to her clients.

Dora feels very confident and hopes to continue to move ahead and assure herself of a tranquil life. She thanks the Manuela Ramos movement for helping her realize her dreams and goals.
