Rhonda's story

I am Rhonda and I live in Los Angeles, California. I am a mother to 2 terrific daughters, a 22 year old graduate of UC Santa Barbara and the other who is 9-1/2 but acts more like a teenager!

I was born, raised and educated in Montreal, Canada and began working in my late father's mail order business when I was 8 years old. He recognized I was ambitious, he saw the entrepreneurial spirit in me and so he cultivated it. After graduating with a B.A. in Industrial Relations from McGill University in 1977 at age 23, I relocated to Los Angeles, where I had relatives.

My professional career in the entertainment business (wholesale video/dvd distribution) began in Los Angeles in 1985. In 1999 (and after having worked in the corporate world for 15 years for 2 nationally recognized companies) I decided to start up my own wholesale dvd distribution company, without any outside investors.

In 2009 my life unexpectedly and radically changed---a very difficult divorce necessitated that I make major changes with my business. My financial portfolio evaporated and I basically lost everything I worked so hard on my own to achieve. My father did teach me that when you get knocked down you just have to get back up. I am in the process of doing that, as difficult as it is.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Cozee-on-the-Go business has the potential to reach even greater heights. I can only achieve my dream with your help. If you help me now I will be able to help millions.
