I grew up in Thika in a family of 17.Mum,dad and 15 children.im the 7th born and we went to a church where they don't plan their families known as Akorino.They also don't believe in Educating women and women are married when they are so young.Life was so difficult and after primary,my parents wanted to marry me off and i ran to the city of Nairobi where i was employed a as a house help.The woman of the house was so good to me that she helped me a lot to understand myself and do some savings.I met a young man who i believed loved me and unfortunately got pregnant.He disappeared.The employer didnt send me away and i stayed until i was 8 months pregnant and she took me back home in thika as no one would take care of me in her house.
I came back to the city after 2 years and with the help of the-same lady i started small second hand shoes business.I don't have much education and my dream is to become a stable businessman and support my kid and also live a comfortable life.Your support will mean a lot to me and to my life.
