Alexander's story

My family and I are from Houston. I have lived in the Oak forest Neighborhood my whole life and watched our Houston community grow in many ways for better and for worse. I love my city and want nothing more than to succeed and give back to those who have helped me. I received my Bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and worked in Midland, Texas on onshore oil rigs after graduation. After working out there for a year I realized that my heart was in Houston. So I moved back to Houston where I am realizing my dream of owning my own business.

Unsure where to begin my quest towards business ownership, I looked, as my family often does, to my grandfather for guidance. It did not take long for him to awaken my entrepreneurial spirit and we partnered up. He is filled with business plans and ideas but is unable to act on them due to his age, however, I have the capability and drive to turn ideas into reality. The best part of partnering up with my grandfather is that I get to spend every day with him. He has shared with me his vast knowledge of business, marketing, and what it takes to make it as an entrepreneur.
