Johna's story

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. This is a wonderful and much needed organization and I appreciate your consideration and contribution.

My name is Johna and I am originally from New York. I have a very interesting life story, which one day I would love to write a book about. I grew up in a housing development and have raised myself since the age of 14. I rented a room in someone's house till I was 18 and put myself through college at Howard University in Washington, DC. It took me sometime to graduate not because I didn't have good grades but because of trying to pay for the high tuition with little help. I had a 3.8 g.p.a., worked 2 jobs, and was very active. I even was honored with a marble stone on campus with my name because of some of my great achievements with my organization Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.

As a young girl and woman I have always shown leadership and entrepreneurial abilities. I have not been one to work for another and have done better financially as a new graduate working for myself. With minimal support I have faced many of life's trials and tribulations, but this has never stopped me from progressing. Everyone one needs a lift sometimes to get to that next chapter in life and that is why I am here. I am hoping my next chapter will be to start this hot dog cart business and grow it into something more in the food and/or entertainment industry.

Will you help me give a happy ending to my story by supporting me?
