A loan of $3,000 helped buy electronics and art supplies already requested by about 50% of my customers.

Eva's story

I was born in Veracruz, Mexico from a family of 9 brothers and sisters. I was thought to be constant and to work towards my goals. I remember when I was about 8 years old I would go to my school in the mornings and then in the afternoon I would sell tacos and enchiladas to help with the house needs. That was one of many things I was thought to do and I have never forgotten it. At the age of 16 I arrived to the USA and started pursuing my dreams by working hard as a house painter, cooker, babysitter, housekeeper, etc. each and every of these jobs have been of much enriched experience to me. I also can recall one of the hardest jobs I did and it was about 7 years ago in an Ethiopian restaurant in which I had to learn to cook their specialties as well as interact in other languages other than Spanish with the clients I worked in that place until they closed their business. As of today, I live in San Francisco City with my 2 children who go to school while in the meantime I'm self-employed, selling clothes, perfumes, make ups, etc., and also work part time as a house keeper. It will mean a lot to receive your help ASAP due that my business has grown and I need more resources to improve them.
